Tazkarti: Fan Capacity Set at 20% for Egypt 2021

Tazkarti, the agency in charge of ticketing for Egypt 2021 have announced that all venues will operate at a maximum capacity of 20%.

In an official statement, they announced that the decision came after ongoing discussions with authorities in collaboration with the organising committee.

"This comes as a direct result of the precautionary measures in place to deal with COVID-19.

"Tazkarti are following the latest medical advice from around the world to face the pandemic, in relation to organising seating and upholding social distancing as well as enforcing the use of face masks during the tournament."

The 27th World Handball Championship will take place in four different halls; Cairo International Stadium Hall which holds 17,000 fans, the Administrative Capital Hall which holds 7,500 fans, the Dr Hassan Moustafa Indoor Hall which holds 5,200 fans, and the Borg El Arab Stadium Hall which holds 5,000 fans.
